TheDaedricDoll
Apologies if this isn't the proper forum for me to post this in. Anyway, I made a crop top mesh in Marvelous Designer and I'm having a hell of a time properly weighting it. Even using references of somewhat similar meshes gets it looking like this: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ET2CKKRX0AYJICH?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ET2CJwoWkAMmYOk?format=jpg&name=4096x4096 This is how it looks in Outfit Studio: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/616373435471364149/691973280168542228/Desktop_Screenshot_2020.03.24_-_07.21.44.80.png My boyfriend, who has experience in making and weighting mashups, tried his hand at weighting it but is stumped on how to fix this weird clipping-like issue with the sleeves. If anyone could give advice or guidance that would be fantastic. I can post the .nif file if need be.
Hanaisse
Underarms are typically the worst part to weight. Been there, done that. Good news is OS v5.0 allows you to move bones, so you can lift those arms up and manually fix all those pesky verts under there. It's also easier if the mesh isn't too high poly, which MD loves to do.
