Crash When Starting A New Game

So I recently reinstalled Skyrim and wanted to add some interesting mods. Well as the title says my game crashes when I try to start a new game. It happens exactly after the Alduin loadscreen. No crash logs or anything - the game just CTD's without so much as giving a sound even. Before you ask - yes, SKSE is installed(how properly is under question though), yes, I tried changing my load order, yes, I used BOSS and no, the mods aren't cleaned. I just don't get what's the problem. The only mods that COULD conflict would be W.A.T.E.R, SMIM and Enhanced Distant Terrain and unlikely Open Cities. And yes I have installed SkyUI version 3 alpha 6. Another reason would be that my PC maybe can't handle the game. I'm using Windows XP SP3, I have 2GB of RAM and an NVidia GeForce GTS 250.

And your Skyrim is 1.8.151.0.7or above as the Open Citys says? sorry for tardy question perhaps,

 

i would guess Open citys here, try un-installing it completley, first manually, then uncheck it in NMM

 

 

Your system spec arent the best, but i dont see why there would be a problem with them to run it the mods you are using, besides Open Citys, as the game need to load al the citys too and not only the landscapes

Edit: shite, thats a lot of mods your using for that system of yours, saw some HD textures and such, you should Download FRAPS to see what FPS you have when you will have it running again to see how your system handles it

 

now are you realy using them al? makes it impossible for us to say wich one, only things so far we can say is are everyone up to date and ar al of them for Skyrim 1.8 not al is, they need an update for 1.8 first and some mods havent been updated for verius cuases on Nexus, like the creator arent online anymore for it, if it isent Open citys, it might be

"Birdsofskyrim" some have had a problem with that, though they have not fully believed it to be the cuase, but atleast it is a start for you to un-install from al your mods

Well I have systematically deactived/deleted all the mods but it didn't work... Even at some point the game started crashing on startup. I guess I'll have to reinstall the game.

CTD during start up loading screen is usually caused by loading ab esp with missing master(s). You might have one or more esp that is actually missing a master file or it may be a simple issue with load order (when the esp is being loaded before its master). Use Wrye Bash to see if this is the case, and use BOSS to set your load order (that load order is clearly not set by BOSS..).

In fact that was the load order from BOSS. And even if it wasn't, I did use BOSS to set my load order.

Hi :)

Firstly I want to tell you that I'm from Poland so do not be angry or annoyed if my language is incorrect...

I have the same problem like ProfileForMods but I can load my earlier save (I dont know how it happened but it is :mellow: )

It probably happened after i launched BOSS but I'm not sure.I think it is something with load order. I'm fresher on nexus so let me know if I'm doing something wrong.

Just suggestion:

Try disabling/removing SMIM.

 

It causes some lag/stutter and maybe crashes. (Because it requires decent amount of power from PC to work completely well)

But i had the static mesh improvment from the beggining so I think it doesn't cause crashes.

In my case the crash is after launching new game (if i don't have alternative start) If i enable alternative start i have crash but after i create new character and walk around for 10 sec. It is strange i know. I thought that is something wrong with lightning or shaders but after disabling it still was crashing. As i said it crashed after i launched boss but earlier it was running quite normal or it was freezeing in big places but it was nothing special...

My computer's parameters:

 

8 GB RAM

CPU: AMD Phenom 4x 3.2 GHz

Graphics Nvidia GTX 470 1 GB

Edit: I've tried disabling SMIM- nothing, still crashing
