Asrayl
As you write them, expect a lot of questions from me. I'll try to figure out what I can as I can, to spare you the "God, that's so obvious!" moments, but I make no promises on that. Same goes for anyone who wants to contribute a guide or tutorial to my project, I'll do my best to keep up with anything you contribute, so as to make a more meaningful, complete, and clear guide of all the information, but I -will- have questions, and I bet I'm not the only one. To those of you who will have questions, please send them to me as they become relevant (Don't flood my in-box before we get the SDK, please. Wait until the project gets rolling.) and I'll do what I can to deliver answers. I'll organize the questions, and if I can't answer them with what information I have, I'll be sure to track down the information at a more knowledgeable source. To making a mark - ! ~ Asrayl
Fallout Duck
One can only hope that Beth. makes a well thought through help file to go with the G.E.C.K. Although visual tuts are usually always welcome by the community

Although visual tuts are usually always welcome by the community  Judging the future based off of the past... not bloody likely... but hey! Looks like the project is really going to take off in a hurry! -VERY EXCITED- to see the interest and support. Oooh so much to do!
papersneaker
Here with my interest and support. I am new to modding, but I have application coding and testing experience. I am tracking this thread.
Asrayl
The wiki they built for it http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Main_Page Seems pretty thorough. I'll be going over it this weekend to see if they left anything out. Not sure what to say about it. So long as the information is available, complete and comprehensive, it doesn't matter which hand writes it. I just want the whole community to be able to use the tools. Honestly, I'm happy they took the time, I just hope it has the final polish and completion. Thanks for the continued interest, and I'll be sure to post my findings as I come to them. SpeedyB64
I've got the G.E.C.K. and I'm starting to examine it. Very similar to TES CS.
Asrayl
I've got the G.E.C.K. and I'm starting to examine it. Very similar to TES CS. It's obvious upon cursory inspection that it is in fact the TES cs. They left some things behind that they shouldn't have. Gameplay, Settings; Scroll down a bit. "iClassAcrobat iClassAgent iClassArcher iClassAssassin iClassBarbarian iClassBattlemage iClassCharactergenClass iClassCrusader iClassHealer iClassKnight iClassMage iClassMonk iClassNightblade iClassPilgrim iClassPriest iClassRogue iClassScout iClassSorcerer iClassSpellsword iClassThief iClassWarrior iClassWitchhunter" The gang's all here. They left in the persuasion stuff too, bribe gold and all of that. Oh and the skill level minimums, apprentice, journeyman, expert, master. The training skill limit of five I just scrolled past... Kind of a slipshod effort, they could have at least cleaned the template off before releasing it, now I have to muddle about figuring out what matters and what doesn't. Montana77
Don't stop with your tutorial because there's a wiki! While it probably is good and all, but i'm looking for some more basic tips. Tips like: To make a follower do these steps etc. I'm comletely new to modding and i would love a "beguinners guide to modding" (or maybe "Wasteland modding guide" by M. Brown ;) ). A guide like that would give +500 Karma to everyone involved!

A guide like that would give +500 Karma to everyone involved! Believe me, my friend, I am not giving up my project, there is quite a bit that remains to be done, though they have given me quite the template to work with. The wiki as it stands now is too disorganized, and too incomplete in my opinion. My guide is still very relevant, and the side projects in particular are still very much a hot item on my to do list. My request to you, and anyone else who finds a question they can not find an answer for on the wiki, place it here. And anyone who knows the answer, if you get it before I do, by all means post it up. For now this thread's going to be a bit of a mess. Just the way I like to start a puzzle. Give me a little time on your modding questions in particular, I hope to have comprehensive answers come monday. Thank you very much for your contributions and I look forward to making this happen.
