DARK4SE
I have a question. I had heard that when Skyrim detects cheats (normal built in-game codes/item codes, etc..) have been turned on the game will stop recording achievements and possibly not save games correctly. Is this true? If so how do you turn them off when I or if I use them? I am new to using Nexus MOD Manager. I love it so far. I have installed the SkyUI with Nexus. There are also a few other MODS I have browsed through and have wanted to try. My question is, will Skyrim treat the MODS I install as built in game cheats and not let me gather achievements or run the game correctly? Or is that only when things are accessed through in game console commands? Such as additem 000blahblahblah, etc...? Sorry if this question does not make much sense. I am new to using MODS and such. I want to use more MODS like the one for the mounts. But I do not want to install MOD after MOD if it is going to change the game and make it think I am using cheat codes. I plan on doing that when I beat the game legit. But right now I just want to play the game and earn my achievements and other in game items. Thank you for any help. Thank you for any help. No, Bethesda supports the modding community that's why they give us tools like the creation kit and allow the use of the workshop. Why not just try and get an achievement real fast and see if it works. You could also look up the command for gold and add 100000 and see if it gives you the achievement.
