HELP - Persistent Problem With Mods That I've Been Unable To Fix For YEARS

I've been playing New Vegas on-and-off since it was released in 2010. It's my favorite game of all time, however I am not able to enjoy it to it's fullest potential and I seem to spend most of my time fixing problems with mods than actually playing it. Please scroll down and read the TL;DR if you don't want to read my detailed explanation, but I'd recommend you read the detailed version so you can get more information which might help you be able to help me more.

I currently have all my mods working perfectly except TWO. They are the two mods I have NEVER been able to get to work. They are Breeze Male Bodies/Roberts Male Bodies (I've tried to use both independently, but they both suffer similar problems) and Fallout Character Overhaul + New Vegas Redesigned 3.

I have had the EXACT SAME problems with both of these mods since they were released and I have NEVER been able to fix them. I have tried every solution and nothing seems to work. I've installed these mods on 3 different computers, 3 different operating systems and god knows how many fresh re-installations (DOZENS) of New Vegas in different directories and I have ALWAYS had the EXACT SAME problems. I just don't understand it at all, I don't understand how other people can install these mods without any problems. There is only one way to install these mods, there are very few steps to installing them and it's almost impossible to do it incorrectly. Copy and Pasting a folder into another folder or hitting the "Install" button in the Vortex/FOMM/NMM client is so simple yet these two mods are ALWAYS broken for me.

The problems that are persistently present are:

Breeze Bodies: Black bar along left arm + black left foot + strange textures all over the body, male characters look disfigured, kind of melted and just generally malformed when they're naked

Roberts Bodies: Black box on chest + strange textures all over the body similar to Breeze, the back of characters looks very "lumpy" and raised as if every male has two massive tumors where their shoulder blades should be. A few years ago on my old computer I had all these problems plus a very strange texture problem where the nipple textures where located on the thighs.

Fallout Character Overhaul: Characters have white faces + black bodies OR black faces + white bodies. Basically EVERY character has mismatched skin and face skin colors to some extent - on some characters it's barely noticable but on some characeters their face is as white as a ghost while their body looks as black as night or as if they've been burnt.

New Vegas Redesigned 3: Purple Faces - Stramgely enough, I've noticed that the only NPCs that have purple faces are 'Guard' NPCs I.E Caravan Guards and NCR Military Police, no other type of NPC has a purple face, it appears to just be guards. Installing NVR3 actually fixes the mismatched body + face color problem caused by FCO, however when I turn off archive invalidation in Vortex it fixes the purple face problem but brings back the mismatched body + face color problem. I also randomly have a problem of ALL Legion armor being invisible and/or their "Scutum" being a exclamation point in a red diamond. The problems with the Legion seem to occur randomly - one day I'll load up the game and legion armor will work fine and I won't be able to find the Scutum in the game so it doesn't error since it doesn't appear, then later that day or the next day i'll load up the exact same save game only to find Legion characters are just floating heads surrounded by the good 'ol huge white exclamation point in red diamond error that everybody knows and loves.

Can you PLEASE help me out? Can you please tell me how I can fix these problems or at least tell me what's causing them? It'd be extremely helpful if you basically gave me a list of every possible solution, every possible fix, every possible patch i can download to fix these problems and I'll try each and every one of them one by one. Surely at least one should work. This is what's frustrating me about this stuff more than anything - surely my version of New Vegas is no different from anybody elses, surely my computer is no different to anybody elses, surely my version of Windows 10 is no different to anybody elses, surely the way i'm installing these mods is no different to how anybody else install these mods, surely my Vortex client is no different from anybody elses, yet these 4 mods simply do not function correctly for me and it's very, VERY frustrating. I'm at my wits end. I just don't understand it. It's been years and I've still not been able to fix them. I can't be doing anything wrong because there's literally nothing I can do wrong since it's so easy to install mods and requires so few steps and so little work - literally all you have to do is drag and drop a folder into another folder or simply press the "install" button after you've extracted it if you're using a mod client. I have NEVER been able to get these specific mods to function properly and that's despite trying them on countless fresh installations of New Vegas and 3 (THREE!) different computers and 3 (THREE!) different operating systems (Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 10). I highly doubt it's a mod conflict problem because these exact same problems occur even when they're the only mods installed aside from the mods required for them to function i.e NVSE, UIO, ALL the DLCs + Fallout Character Overhaul installed before I install New Vegas Redesigned 3. Honestly, I can live with the bodies of every male in my game looking absolutely up and and weird looking since they're covered by clothes most of the time anyway, but I desperately need FCO and NVR3 to work. They're extremely essential to "remastering" New Vegas and I can't enjoy New Vegas when characters are walking around with faces as pale as paper and bodies as black as charcoal. I HATE IT when I go to the strip and see prostitutes with white faces and black bodies dancing in the street - they're impossible to ignore, always there and the problem is extremely noticeable due to the prostitute outfit revealing their whole black body as opposed to most outfits in the game where only a characters black or white fingers/hands are visible.

I'm really begging you guys for help. I just want to enjoy New Vegas. I'd really appreciate it if you helped me and told me how to fix all of these problems. I personally think FCO/NVR3 and Breeze/Roberts Bodies are absolutely ESSENTIAL for playing New Vegas in 2020. The NPC designed for New Vegas were kind of crappy back in 2010 but they're unbearable in 2020 and it's almost not even worth playing New Vegas without them, they do wonders for immersion and making the graphics more modern + a lot of really cool armor mods require Breeze or Roberts to be installed. I'm currently forced to play without these mods and it SUCKS. It'd really improve my New Vegas experience if I could use them. It's been several YEARS of trying to install these mods and I've NEVER been able to get them to work. Please help me. New Vegas is my all time favorite game and I'd love to be able to play it with these mods working. It doesn't seem like these problems would be hard to fix, they all seem like texture errors.

TL;DR - I have problems with Fallout Character Overhau0l (FCO), New Vegas Redesigned 3 (NCR3) and Breeze Bodies/Roberts Bodies. The problems with FCO are: mismatched face and body skin colors I.E brown skin on the face, white skin on the bodies OR brown skin on the face, white skin on the body. The problems with NVR3 are: mismatched skin colour that is also present in FCO, purple faces, invisible legion armor (basically turns legion soldiers into floating heads), red and white exclamation point error for the legion "Scutum". Problems for the Breeze/Roberts Male Bodies are: black bars on the chest and arms, black foot, VERY disfigured and malformed back and shoulders. I've had all of these problems for years and I cannot fix them. Please tell me what I can do to fix them, I'd really appreciate it. I think that these mods are absolutely essential for playing New Vegas in 2020 and are a major part of "remastering" the game and making it more modern. Please help me by giving me solutions to fix these problems.

Thanks in advance to anyone who attempts to help me. I really really do need help. I'm sick and tired of these problems. It's at the point now where I might just give up on trying to play New Vegas all together if I can't fix them and just wait for the Fallout 4 New Vegas Remaster mod to come out and play that instead.

You are having a couple of different problems, but they appear to arise from the common misconception that any given "body replacement" mod has everything it needs. They actually consist of two components: the "mesh" (NIF file) which provides the body structure, and the "texture" (DDS file) which provides the "skin" or "clothing". Some mods include both while others are designed to be compatible and work with other mods. This is especially problematic when you are dealing with different mods for males and females. Approach both gender mods separately.

Please see the 'Body Replacement Basics' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. Then read the 'Issue: Body Replacer - Custom Body Types' and related 'Body Replacer -' entries of the section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article. (While you are there, see also the 'Solutions to Mesh (Red "!" icon) or Texture (solid color) problems' section.)

Once you have read those, you will more readily understand the advice provided in the extensive FCO "comments" forum thread on the subject that has the answers to pretty much every conceivable related question. Use the forum "this topic" search function.
