RedDogs
OK, I started modding and doing alright, but I'm making a lot of mistakes like messing up door links. I save all the time but can't figure out how to get back to the point right before I screwed up a door link. I am really getting P.O from having to dump my mod and start over. :wallbash: Please help,Thank you
dolalmoth
I don't have a real answer except that if you saved right before messing things up you could close the CS and then open it again. I hope there is a better way, but I don't know it. It would be a good thing to know.
ihateregisteringeverywhere
You can remove changes you made with your plugin. Go to file>Data> select your plugin > details. This will give you an extensive list of all of the changes your mod/plugin does in a rather.... incomprehensible way. You just have to figure out which change you want deleted click it and press the delete button. I'm fairly certain that there's a nice tutorial on how to find out what is the change you're looking for, I suggest searching on the TesCS wiki to find it. Edit> You could also NOT set the plugin you're working on as active and save your changes to a plugin of your original plugin and if you're happy with that you can merge them together with tes4gecko. Khet
What I actually do when working on my mod is load up my .esp but NOT set it as active. I make some changes, test it out in game (by having the original and the 'new' versions both loaded) and if I'm pleased with them I then use Tes4Gecko to merge the two esp's together 'finalizing' my changes to the original ESP and then delete the second one I've made.
