mikemc2
Here is an obvious one. I have scene and read MANY reviews of Dragonborn for the Xbox and apparently you cannot control the Dragon Flight when riding dragons. Basically you target an enemy and order the Dragon to attack it. Or else it's flight path is random 'till you pick an enemy or fast travel. I think the reason Bethesda went this route was because the city meshes in the Skyrim world-space is so ugly and half done because the player in meant to zone into the cities own world-space. Anyway my request is when we PC-gamers get our hands on Dragonborn I am requesting a mod to control the dragon's flight. And I am sure that with "Open Cities" this will be a complete experience without breaking the immersion or the game. That's it.

Is it immersive that instead of telling the dragon to something, you control it with your psyche, and make it move exactly how you want? I thought first that it's annoying that you cannot control the dragon directly, but then again, I think it's pretty well thought and made if it works like it does. Also, answer for the: "I think the reason Bethesda went this route was because the city meshes in the Skyrim world-space is so ugly and half done because the player in meant to zone into the cities own world-space."http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/31623413.jpg Anyway, I think it might be possible to change the way how flying works. After all, there is couple of mods which allow you to fly dragon, however flying in Dragonborn might be really different. We'll see after Dragonborn is released. It's hard to do something beforehand the DLC is released, don't you think?
AnubisRaven
I can definitely see modders improving on dragonriding after Dragonborn is out. I mean, we already have a few WIP mods that let you fly around as a dragon, and actually the resources provided by dragonborn might help these mods out tremendously (please note I have no experience modding, and, in fact, everything I'm saying could be bullcrap)
mikemc2
I was giving this a little more thought last night. AND yes till the DLC comes out this is all just speculation (fun speculation at least to me)..but..how about just adding the ability to pick a destination (ALA Scenic Carriages) and "ask" the Dragon to take you there (like the fast travel mechanic that's already in there but actually flying the path to the place you want to go, again like S.C. does with the fast-travel system. Instead of directly controlling the Dragon's flying as a way of traveling and possibly landing in a place you shouldn't be landing in, like the Skyrim worldspace version of a city. By the way I love the mods, tried using the tools and gave up - making them not my thing, using them - yes please

That doesn't matter because either way, the "immersion" has already been "broken by psyche". The character does not shout "Attack!" when you command a Dragon to do so. What difference would it make to control the dragon regarding psyche if it's already under psychic control because of the 'Bend Will' shout. I say it would be way better to control the dragon is such way that it obeys every movement. As in "WASD". I would personally love it if they'd release an official patch for it. The immersion won't be broken with the 'psyche theory', because the dragon is already under your control because of 'Bend Will'.Take horses, for example. They're under complete movement control once mounted. I'd love it if it were the same for dragons. x.x Suggestion: I would personally enjoy one that's similar to the horse riding, except one flies.Keep the old one would be neat, too. For instance, you're controlling your dragon's every movement and suddenly you see an enemy. If you press space for targeting, it would immediately return to the ai controls, as opposed to the movement controls. antihero420
I already have a similar idea. My idea is to instead of mounting a dragon, create a spell that turns you in a dragon but with a mesh of your character on the dragons back (so you control the dragon not your character)Similar to the way World of Warcraft handles their mounts. Here is a link to my post for a more detailed description. Great Dragon Mount idea (EXPERIENCED MODDERS PLEASE READ)
