Modified Armor Skin Parts Not Scaling Correctly

So I made an armor modified from the vanilla ebony armor. I made no edits to the skin that shows through (namely the area around the neck), but for some reason its not scaling correctly to the _0 mesh. On the _1 mesh the neck lines up (with body slider at 100) but anything under that and there is a gap between the skin on the cuirass and the Player character's neck. The rest of the armor is scaling as intended.

 

I am not using any body mods. When I compare to the vanilla ebony cuirass that one works. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
