dollarcraig93 Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 Alright, so i got this idea from erics quad damage for archers and marksman velocity. I liked the changes they made, but disliked the fact that they didn't affect arrows in other mods. I decided to load up all my mods that used arrows (used tes4edit) to make a mod that improved all arrows, and a seperate esp to improve all bows. I wanted to multiply arrow damage by 1.4, and bow damage by 2.4. IMO, a more powerful bow is better than a pointier arrow. These improvements give an overall bonus to a set (ex: daedric bow&arrow) of 3.36 times original damage. This would make the mod game breaking, but i'm using mods that cause stumbling if enemies are near, and a mod that requires you to hold a knocked arrow for 3 seconds for the shot to be totally effective. I ran into a problem though; when i go in and try to edit each arrow the hard way, TESCS stops working for me; it won't let me save and it crashes (I think it may be because i have around 200 mods). Is there a script i can make that will simply change the damage calcluation for bows and arrows? This would be preferable, as it would incorporate any mod into its workings.
