How to fix ugly blotch on face.

Any idea how to fix this blueish blotch that appears on dark skinned races? It's over their nose and spreads out a little, maybe a quarter way to the middle of the eyes underneath. Anyways it makes it hard to make a dark skinned character. Also on light skinned it's a really light blotch. I have pictures of the dark skinned but not light skin. By the way the race is chocolate elves.

The first picture is spelled out instead. It is close to nudity. Not entirely sure of the rules but just to be on the safe side be careful. I don't think anything is showing but a little bit of the breast almost nipple but nothing else. Might be frowned upon here, not sure.

Hi!

I've used the Chocolate Elves race and don't have that problem, but there is something you can try that does help:

Quoted from my own race mod readme:

When creating your character it is also a good idea to Reset the face before making any adjustments, then move the complexion slider all the way from one side to the other and back to where you want it to be. This allows the game to get the correct texture. It works, believe me.

This is how my character looks but you may not be able to see that the face is slightly different in tone to the body textures. The collar hides it a bit. Nothing I've done has fixed it but it depends on the light as well how obvious it is.

Give the reset face option a try and see if it helps.

It also helps with the default races but I don't use them these days. The Redguards use the Imperial face textures which is why you get the greenish blotches.

You will get good results if you use these texture mods first, before installing a custom race. If you've already installed your custom race just put it's textures back again after installing these mods.

Improved Facial Textures by Shady Tradesman Version 2.1:

Facial Textures by Enayla:

First install Improved Facial Textures. It changes the age maps so you get better looking faces at all age levels and gets rid of those blotches on the face.

Install Facial Textures by Enayla over IFT. Make sure to do it in this order.

Then install your custom race or new textures for vanilla, whichever you want to do.
