tschnepper Posted December 11, 2012 Share Posted December 11, 2012 Hello and thank you all for reading this. I joined this site and was very impressed with the mods and support here. I decided to be a contributor to the community instead of a leach. I built a mod from the ground up. My first ever mod on anything. I'm still learning things and playing around with items. I publicly released my mod on here today and was pleased with the feedback. For my testing, I made a unowned chest and placed a daedric armor set in it to use when I coc'd to my mod from the start of the game. Now that I have finished my mod and went back to playing Skyrim, any unowned, or wooden Bandit chest I find contains exactly the same items I placed into the chest in my mod. I have two other chests in my mod with random items and they have not been affected. I don't know why any wooden chest I come across in Skyrim now only contains my armor set and deadric shock sword. Has anyone ever had this problem before? Can you help me fix it? I'm not sure if this effects anyone that downloads my mod or if it's just me on my computer since I was playing around with CK. tschnepper Posted December 14, 2012 Author Share Posted December 14, 2012 I ended up dragging a chest into CK and filling it with items instead of duplicating the item then filling it. I basically just made a master list of ingredients for the chests for the game without knowing it. I went back and took out the items in my chests and replaced them with the original items again. I have to go all through my mod and fix everything. I didn't know I had to duplicate items before tampering with them and tweaked all my enemies as well as weapons and items. Live and learn. I just wanted to reply to my thread so in the future if anyone had the same problem, it's nice to see someone solved this and just didn't say "Never mind I figured it out."
