I don't mean some essential companion who'll let you beat on her/him to raise your weapon skills, I mean someone who'll fight back and help train your armour or blocking skills (without, of course, killing you or allowing you to kill her/him). I looked all over but couldn't find anything except the Vilja companion mod--but I'd rather not download a massive companion mod just to get a sparring partner/trainer (not saying it's not 'good', just don't want to download it merely for that purpose). I would think something like this would be immensely useful for people who are using the Scaling Stopper, or ERSO static encounter zones, Skyrim Un-leveled, or any sort of level list spawn modifications where the world does not care one whit that your character is some puny prison escapee and the NPCs are not going to nerf themselves and scale their levels to you. Getting hammered in a safe environment for an hour might just make the difference between 'challenging' and 'frustration.'
