kurt cobain murder or suicide

The only reason Nirvana is so popular in the first place because Kurt Cobain commited suicide. If not they would have eventually faded into mediocrity and would have been.. that band.. with that song.. teen spirit something..

Since he killed himself people take so much more of an introspective look at his music and lyrics because it becomes much more interesting and romantic when the words were written by suicidal maniac.

It seems whenever someone in music dies, them or their band becomes immortalized.. Look at Sid Vicious and the Sex Pistols.. TuPac.. Kurt and Nirvana..Biggy Smalls. Its so pathetic.

Peregrine's right, Nirvana, or Kurt Cobain were not that special. The fact that this person was famed doesnt make his death anymore special or more important than anyone elses.

The real question is, who cares? Countless other people are murdered and the killer never caught, why should this one person be so special?

Amen. He's dead let it go.

According to the turkey anamolies website, he was too OD'd on heroin to pull the trigger on the shotgun. Well, idjits, he would've died from the drugs anyway, I think if he WAS murdered someone was just doing him a favor.

Silence, fanboys. Let it go.

Word.

Also, to imply that because the victim was famous (at some point) and therefore more deserving of attention than the countless unnamed victims mentioned by Peregrine is a moral can of worms you really don't want to open.

And you know the saying:

Let sleeping dogs lie...

Except in this case, he's dead...so let it be.

No, definitely not true. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was Nirvana's first really big song, but I was in 5th grade when Bleach came out. I bought the tape, and it was like "whoa." It was completely different than anything I had ever heard. Nirvana was what really broke us out of 80's music. It's kind of hard to understand when their debut album came out the year you were born, I guess.

Nevermind was the first CD I ever bought when I got a CD player.

I know nothing about rap, but Sid Vicious and the Sex Pistols did the same thing for punk as Nirvana did for alternative. Pioneers are revered whether alive or not. There are many living artists that are just as immortalized, but after they die, their work gains even more meaning because there will never be any more of it.

I would suspect not, or at least not for a very long time. Look at the Foo Fighters. They're still going plenty strong.

The reason the murder/suicide debate continues is the same reason OJ still gets so much attention....its someone getting away with murder right in the middle of the public eye. It also doesn't help that Courtney Love is such a raging psychopath that is in the news every other day for doing something stupid.

Bedcause we know who did it and we're ignoring it. We dont know who killed jam master jay, but if we did, wouldnt you want justice done to his murderer?

Correction. You think you know who killed Cobain. The reason nothing is being done is that the case was ruled a suicide and closed. End of story. I highly doubt that Love or any possible co-conspirator had enough influence or money to derail a police investigation. And, I'll wager that some cop (or cops) on the Seattle police force happen to be Nirvana fans and have looked into the case from time to time. And yet, the case remains closed.

What you have presented is purely circumstantial evidence, nothing more. It is pure conspiracy and is akin to the thread we had a while back concerning wether or not the 9/11 attacks had been faked by the government. Or that aliens exist and the government is covering them up.

Until you have incontrovertable proof (at which point I will admit being wrong) I will assume that Bigfoot stole the evidence.

Well, we have undeniable proof that there is no way it could be a suicide. I dont know if there was a burn mark on his head, though, and that could be most important. Besides that, there is no way he could have shot himself with the shotgun. And you know as well as I do that she had enough motives to choke a cow.

Here's the thing: If no fingerprints of his were found on the gun, box of shells or pen that allegedly wrote the suicide note, we dont have any evidence that he opened the box and put shells in to shoot himself, but furthermore, "Roger Lewis concludes: "There is no way he shot himself up with triple a fatal dose of heroin, rolled down his

shirt sleeve, put his syringe and drug kit neatly away in a box, and pulled the trigger. You'd be dead before

you even got the needle out of your arm." This is backed by all the medical study - you'd be instantly dead or

instantly in a coma. Lewis' report is titled "Dead Men Don't Pull Triggers"." And, although this doesnt convict courtney love, it does quash every claim that this was a legitamate suicide. And isnt it convenient that an old friend of courtney love's performed the autopsy?

According to the anamolies-unlimited website, he was too OD'd on heroin to pull the trigger on the shotgun. Well, idjits, he would've died from the drugs anyway, I think if he WAS murdered someone was just doing him a favor.

Whos to say that the murderer didnt inject that into him so that it looks like a drug related suicide? Most heroin users that I know (And I know many) are controled enough to know how to do it just enough to get messed up and not so much that it kills you instantly. That wouldve killed him instantly, especially at his weight, considdering that it was 1.395 ml per liter of blood, the highest dose found in a person.

Honestly how could you say he didnt kill himself. Sure it could have been courtney love, but i doubt it. He was pretty much either high or depressed. If he was killed by someone else then oh well. Its not going to be proven. If it is then it will be by confession. That case is closed. End of story. He shouldnt have died, but due to the drug abuse he probably would have died in a couple of years anyway.
