Is there a good way to tell when you've hit the mod limit?

So i'm new to modding and computers. I've read that TW3 doesn't do well with a lot of mods and I have a bad habit of doing so on the Bethesda games that allowed modding on consoles. Are there any indicators I should watch out for concerning if i'm using too many at once? Ive tried to force myself to be pickier but im afraid I probably already have too many

Game won't launch, infinite load screens, long loading for dialogs etc. Use the mod limit fix.
