Sephlyn Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Alot of the mods say I should use FOMM to apply ESP. extension i think based mods. But I don't really understand why when I put it in the data folder and tell the Fallout 3 launcher to load loose files mods seem to work. Does FOMM apply things that don't get applied by loading the loose files?

All you need to do is put the mod esp files into your Data folder and then use FOMM to start your game.FOMM does away with the need to use the Fallout Launcher. As an added bonus all your mods will stay checked.
Sephlyn Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 Once I load a mod even if it unchecks itself it remains on is that odd (Using the launcher, plus I can edit settings there too so I kind of like it)
