Question about python-installed Wrey Bash

I have downloaded the 2.49b version of blender (since it's the only nif-friendly version) and I have to install python...will that override the files that wrye bash needed? I know it'd be nice to know which files it required but I can't really remember. If it helps,I used the Wrye Python 05 .exe :sweat: .
