OneTrueNailz
I have a save I've invested 70 hours in, but thought I'd try a new game as a thief, girl, instead of my warrior dude. Anyway, the saves of "Raziel" are still in the <My Documents, My Games, Skyrim, Saves> folder, but I can't see them in game, in the load menu at all. Please someone help, I don't think I can hack starting again, not yet anyway... **SCRATCH THAT, I'VE ONLY GOT THE .SKSE FILES, LLOKS LIKE THEY'RE GONE** Edited December 11, 2012 by OneTrueNailz

NomNuggetNom
I suggest using TES V Savegame Manager to manage multiple characters. If you use SKSE, or any other .exe to start Skyrim, that can be configured.
TheIconoclast
I don't think there's much you can do. I wish you luck. I wish I could be of assistance, but I think you're SOL (Sorry, Out of Luck). There is a way to prevent this from happening. Simply manage your savegames: either with a mod, or you can do it manually, like I do. I didn't like the savegame managers. They didn't work very well for me. But you can do this manually without all of the dysfunction involved with third party software handling the most valuable thing in skyrim: your savegames. IF YOU ARE CAREFUL you can find this a much more effective way to handle your savegames. Edited December 12, 2012 by TheIconoclast
