Bijin causes problems with hands(CBBE)

So this is a pretty common issue; I have it on some NPCs in my game.

Basically, a clothing item has a "body" that comes built into it if the clothing item displays any skin: arms, neck/torso, midriff, etc. What you have here is a mismatch between the character's actual hands, and the body attached to that outfit she is wearing. You can actually check to see that this is the case by removing the outfit; you will see the "real" body probably doesn't have this problem unless you installed something wrong.

If you install a body, then a clothing and armor replacement for that body, it will mostly get rid of this problem. But then there will be mod added armors/clothes that still might have the issue. Even between the versions of a body type -- for example CBBE slim, CBBE curvy, CBBE vanilla -- you can still have this wrist gap if you mix these types.

And here's another weird thing; sometimes even if all your bodies/clothes/armors are properly set up for a given body type, you STILL could have the problem with certain animations. I have literally watched some animations look perfect, but then during part of the animation the wrist gap appears. It's due to how all the working parts of a body mesh/skeleton system move in relation to each other and sometimes dynamically scale (change sizes).

I don't worry too much about this in my game. Typically if I put UNP armors on characters with UNP bodies, CBBE clothes to CBBE characters, etc. it isn''t too much of a problem. More of a headache to fix than to just live with.

So I'm guessing that you have a CBBE body installed, but vanilla clothing still?

Thank you for your response.

I did not install any special patches or mods for clothing, since I thought it were alreade included in basic version of CBBE. And it propbably was.

After a long information search I figured out that this issue could be fixed using BodySlide, but all my attempts to fix it were failed. So I think that it is still possible to solve the problem via BodySlide but I am using this programm incorrect.

I have no idea what your image looks like. Your link delivered me to a browser error. Should have hard linked it so it was visible in the post instead of requiring a change of location.

From what I gathered from the respondent's post:

Rebuild the naked body, the clothed body, AND the hands, and the feet. Make sure to check the "build morphs" checkbox. Now, refit the armor in question.

If you use racemenu atop bodyslide, be aware that changes to the body in racemenu will often result in ill fitted clothing.

As was previously noted, some animations (for whatever reason) result in weird body morphs

And if you Apply armor made for a different body type, (for instance, you're CBBE but you put on a UNP fitted piece of armor) don't be surprised when the body changes shape, or something vanishes to invisibility, or some other weirdness ensues.

The game isn't bullet proof. It gets things wrong. The mods authors get things wrong. The players get things wrong.
