ToxicWitchling
Hi. I installed Skyrim on my computer two days ago, and it worked just fine. Then I installed some mods. They were all working just fine yesterday, until I installed one and afterwards, my game crashed. At first it gave me an error message saying something along the lines of "Skyrim cannot launch because it cannot find the file..." the file name was a letter and some numbers, but I can't remember what. I unactivated all my mods, tried again, and it gave me the same message. Today, I reinstalled it. The launcher will come up, but immediately crashes and says the program has stopped working. I'm the only one who uses this computer, and I'm running as an administrator. My virus protection ran out last week sometime, so I'm not using any at the moment, but that shouldn't be affecting it since I installed the game without it. I'm running on Windows 7, on an HP Pavilion DM4. The only way I can play Skyrim at a somewhat decent FPS rate is in windowed mode at low quality, so I have to have access to the launcher, even if there is a way to bypass it. Thoughts? Help? Solutions? ):
