TigoODonnell
I've recently installed New Vegas and am trying to run mods through FOMM, however every time I start the game with mods the menu doesn't pop up or pushing a key will cause it to automatically shutdown, and I have no clue what to do to fix it. Here is my load order that I'm currently running that used to work with the game:FalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmOldWorldBlues.esmLonesomeRoad.esmClassicPack.esmTribalPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmCaravanPack.esmYUP - Base Game + All DLC.esmProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Equipment.esmProject Nevada - Cyberware.espProject Nevada - Rebalance.espFCOMaster.esmMore Perks.esmMore Traits.esmMore Perks for Companions.esmFalloutNV_lang.espYUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).espEVE FNV - ALL DLC.espFCO - NPC Changes.espFCO - GlowingOne.espFCO - OHSB NPC Edits.espFCO - Russell.espWeaponModsExpanded.espMore Perks Update.espMore Traits Update.espMore Perks for Companions Update.esp Total active plugins: 30Total plugins: 30 Edited April 3, 2020 by TigoODonnell
dubiousintent
Please see the 'Vanilla Load Order' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. If the problem persists, then see either the 'Solutions to Starting the game problems' or the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' sections in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. It is designed for someone who has never played a modded PC game before, so it tries to avoid making any assumptions, is kept "up-to-date", and covers years of "lessons learned".BTW: You don't need the "FalloutNV_lang.esp" plugin unless you are running a "regional language" version of the game (meaning "other than English"). If so, it is always important to mention that when asking for help as not all mods work in other regional versions of the game. -Dubious-
jjb54
@ TigoODonnell: * One thing I noticed not posted is are you using FONV-SE ( Script Extender )? Some of the mods require this and I tried to run my FO-NV w/just the Vanilla starter EXE and had the same issue.
