Blackthorrn
First the program wouldn't auto-detect textures so I added Skyrim/data to the render settings list manually, now it loads hair textures but not face! All I'm trying to do is make custom faces for characters and celebrities.
throttlekitty
Also set the texture bsa in File>Resource Files. Edited December 12, 2012 by throttlekitty
Blackthorrn
Added Skyrim - Textures to the resource list, it's the only thing on there, and still blank. I've tried nif's from all sorts of folders to no luck...UPDATEI got the females to load perfect, but male heads load without eyebrows? throttlekitty
Oh. Bethesda used a different convention for finding these textures. If you look into the LightingshaderProperty>Texture Set for something like the eyebrows, you'll see something like:Actors\Character\MaleBrows\MaleBrow_4.ddsinstead ofTextures\Actors\Character\MaleBrows\MaleBrow_4.dds So, set "Data\Textures\" as a folder to get these heads to load as expected. Blackthorrn
Yeah, I did that but it only fixed the female brows. So I guess I'll just have to edit heads without eyebrows.EDIT-Ok so I just edited a face with no eyebrows and it worked, I swapped the head I made with the original in nifscope and tried to open it in CK but it can back blank. Do I need a special texture file with the same name or is it something else wrong? Edited December 12, 2012 by Blackthorrn
throttlekitty
Did you check the texture paths after your edits? I'm not sure what kind of edits you're making that could give you a 'blank'.
Blackthorrn
I used the default textures, all i did was made a duplicate of nordhead and changed the nif to my own.
