stolen patches

I think its harsh how you banned some kid for asking about illegal patches.

 

I bought the game at a store for a million dollars when it came out, but since it forces me to use steam and constantly update the game(which makes my game crash more often than i'd like, and i pay a lot for bandwidth), i chose to play the cracked stolen version. i would appreciate information about where to get current 'stolen' patches other than steam since i CHOSE not to use it.

dont ban me as i did BUY the game and am not sharing it with anyone else.

doodab clearly you do not quite get the fact that we do not support any form of pirated material here.

 

From the Terms of Service:

 

Piracy

We have a strict anti-piracy policy on these forums and the Nexus sites and we take a proactive and pre-emptive stance on anyone we believe is using a pirated version of any game or software.

If you give us reason to believe that you are a software pirate you will be instantly banned.

 

Notice the bold part - pirated version that means including illegal updates that break the DRM connections. Which is a violation of the end user license agreement (EULA) you clicked when you installed the game.

 

So, yes - you will be banned for use of illegally acquired software (the patches) and also for advocating piracy by suggesting we allow the discussion of, and the linking of said illegal items.
