Low download speed

This is a problem i have had many times already on nexus, to the point where i had to give up on playing with mods for a while. Now i'm trying again but whenever i download anything bigger than 50mb i get speeds as low as 3KB/s, though smaller files seem to work fine. All the sample files are also at extreme low speeds and the site itself is struggling to load.

I'm not a premium user, and i don't have adblock, so i should be reaching the cap of 2MB/s. My internet is working fine, i'm getting 2MB/s on steam, for example.

I would like to know if this is a widespread issue with the site or if there is something i can do on my end to improve those speeds.

From Brazil as well and my download speed has always been awful
