Whiterun Gate Wall missing!

Hello first. This is kinda my first time posting in Forum an "HELP".

 

I have a problem and this is still not easy to find.

Whiterun Gate Wall is missing and it's only in the inside. I checked in the folder and everything, yet all meshes and textures are still there. I had before an Overhaul on.

This was JK's Skyrim with T'Whiterun Addon.

 

I thought first the Addon or/and the JK's Skyrim were the problem. So I disable them plus delete them. That wasn't the problem there, the wall were still missing. I reinstalled the SMIM Mod. Yet still the wall missing. I even verify the game via Steam, cuz I thought the game missing something. On loot or SSEEdit is nothing wrong to find and it's everything clean and green.

 

I also tried to deleted all my saves and restart the game a clean save. I via used Alternative Start to start on Whiterun directly, yet there's the wall missing.

 

 

So I clearly done with my nerve and I cannot find any result in the internet. So this here is my last hope. ^^

Please don't take this the wrong way, but did you test your build as you went ? How many texture overhauls did you install ? Did you uninstall any mods mid play through ? Change your load order mid game ? Did you check mod pages for information, you can't just rely on LOOT ?

My build worked before I installed new mods. I installed new mods for more... feelings in the Skyrim World. (u know)

 

I actually didn't uninstall anything. I only install Updates and some new and this was the JK's Skyrim Overhaul mods. Before I installed it, everything was fine and nothing missed. Also my load order were the same in the beginning, so I clearly didn't changed anything there.

Yes I checked the mod pages for what new mods I installed, and there were sadly no result for my problem. Like, its a new problem.

All the old mods I had, were only up-to-date too. I checked every mod and I am everyday on Nexus for new Update for always up-to-date.

Did the Skyrim Cities, Town, ect. Overhaul mods destroyed that Whiterun wall??

So, thats all what I installed it. Before all of them, the wall were still there and nothing went wrong. I installed everthing patches what it needed and checked all the compatiblility. There were no problems to see, so I assumed everything should "work".

 

I also started a fresh new game tho ... so I couldn't changed anything while mid-game. I played at the start completly normal, but then I moved to Whiterun and turn around and saw the missed Wall.

 

I am clearly out of my mind what or which of those actually broke my wall... I even played 1 Weeks straight Fallout4 intense, cuz I gave up. XD

Did you update Skyrim Special edition before you installed new mods or while you were modding by any chance ? The next thing you should do is uninstall the new mods you added and see if the textures are still missing.

Skyrim don't have a new Update. It's still the same version like months ago. Even Skyrim SE Script Extender is still the same version from months ago.

 

But to answer your Question, I updated my Skyrim SE last year, the latest new Update number 1.5.97. And after I updated it, I modded it from Zero to Max; I restarted to modding again. But this was months ago. (There was the Wall still there)

While those months I always updated mods I get from Nexus, just in case I decide to play again. So I did, but with new mods extra.

Ok so it could be any number of things but here are a few suggestions,

 

Open SkyrimPrefs.ini and under [DISPLAY] look for this entry:

iMultiSample=1

If not there, add it.

If set to "0" then change to "1" (make sure you back up your ini file in case any dramas)

 

OR Try uninstalling all your world texture replacers ie Noble,SMIM, Skyrim realistic overhaul etc as it could be a bad install and check them one by one

 

and on another note regarding Jk's Skyrim FPS drop have you tried SSE fixes ? ( I believe it has another newer version out for SKE64 too)

Ok, sorry for long answer... I were busy with other thing.

 

I kinda fixed my problem. I kinda delete everything. All mods and the game itself. I installed the game new and installed all the same mods again.

Now the wall is there.

 

I don't know why it wasn't there at the start. But I am kinda happy now, that's now fixed, even I deleted everything and installed everything new.

To answer your SSE fixes, yes I used this for along time and this thing will be never missed in my skyrim folder. So yes, it was before there. But the reason for FPS Drops its only my PC. (its a very old sh*t that have a 970GTX and FX8350) :)

PS: For people who have might the same problem; uninstall everything, that's how it fixed for me. I tried everything and even on Vanilla the Wall were missing. So uninstall all mods, delete them, uninstall the game and then reinstall the game again. and THEN you can install all mods new again. If there is an another resulting, then add here, so other people can use this option than mines. (Since mines were horrible way).

After hours of searching and cleaning, found the conflicting mod: Skyrim Landscape and Water Fixes. When I removed it, the issue was gone and the city wall re-appeared.
