Freezing in combat

Long story short, I've noticed my game occasionally freezing during combat. Not crashing to desktop, but freezing. This is the first time I've ever had the game just lock up.

 

After numerous tests, I "think" I've narrowed it down to one underlying issue - bow animation, and/or sneaking animation + bow animation. Since I really only play archery characters, I had a hard time pinpointing it at first, but numerous tests have proven that the lock ups only happen while attacking with a bow. Never had I had a freeze while using magic, or any other weapon.

 

So now, I need help figuring out what is causing this. First I will list the mods I have installed (in case the issue lies with a mod or mod order that I haven't thought of), and then I will list the mods I think might be involved - generally the mods dealing with poses/animations. Since I've separated my list in NMM by install order, I will list them here by install order, as well. The general rule here is that, after each group was installed, the game was play tested to ensure that there were no conflicts/CTDs/ect. First are the S.T.E.P. approved mods.

For quick access to them, ctrl + f "[sTEP].

After the STEP mods were the first round of mods of my own personal preference, namely body/model mods, armor mods, etc. To see this list, ctr+f "[AA]".

The second round of mods are further personal preference mods, to see this list, ctr + f "[bB].

And finally, the newest round of mods, to see it, ctrl + f "[CC]"

As stated above, I know that with the [sTEP], [AA], [bB] mods the game ran like a charm - no issues whatsoever. It wasn't until I started the [CC] mods that I began having this issue. There were more mods in the [CC] pack, but they were removed during my testing process to figure out what was causing the issue.

 

 

Anyone have any insight?
