SilentKnight010
So, I've been working on this for a week. I have a list of compatible mods and I know my hardware is sufficient. Its complete lack of understanding. Some things will load right and others wont. I have tried everything short of a blood sacrifice to get Character overhaul to work. The external installer wont complete. Some stuff loads in and others dont. I find something that works for one thing and it creates an issue I dont know how to fix. And honestly, I'm about to just give up.
dubiousintent
Okay, we understand you have a problem and are frustrated. But no one is forcing you to use any mods and we can't do anything to help with just a vague "problems with FCO" statement. Everything is in the details. Soooo ... Please provide ALL the information requested in the wiki "How to ask for help" article. Don't forget to identify things that do not appear in the "load order", such as the version of Windows, if you are using a "Steam" or "GOG" and/or "regional language version" of the game (even if you are playing it in English); using the FNV4GB Patch, NVSE and it's related plugins; replacements for textures (specifically their larger image sizes: 1024x1024, etc.), animations, or "bodies", etc.; and "post-processors" like ENB or SweetFX. It saves us playing "20 questions" and gets you a more specific answer more quickly. (The usual turn-around on post and reply in an older game forum is 24 hours.) Screenshots of the "load order" don't usually work so well because they tend to cut off or fail to display needed information and are hard to "piece together" into a complete and coherent picture.* See "How to markup images (etc) in forum posts and comments" article for how to use "Spoiler tags". "LOOT" already includes those tags in the "load order" it copies to your clipboard, so you can just paste it's list into your post. In the meanwhile: Please see the 'Body Replacement Basics' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article.-Dubious-

I understand your frustration, as I an others have been there, sometimes more than once.My answer below is based on what you supplied ( posted ), not on what you did NOT post. You were lean on specific data. 1st - Does the game load fine without any mods? 2nd - Did you verify that you have all the required DLC's?... A lot of mods now require some to ALL the DLC's. 3rd - Did you verify that you have ALL requirements for the mods you are using?... Some mods rely on other mods and / or special files.... Did you also verify any conflicts that mods might have w/other mods? 4th - Did you check to see if you need the FONV-SE ( Fallout NV Script Extender )?... A lot of mods now require the Script Extender.... Did you follow the simple instructions for installing the Script Extender Launcher? 5th - Did you use a program like LOOT to arrange your mods?... Get it here: LOOT I'll be watching for you answer.
