nocoolnamejim
Hey folks, I'm a new user to the site and have really enjoyed the great mods that I've found for Fallout 3. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much the modders out there have done without the tool set being available yet. That having been said, I think a link to stickied FAQ of very basic questions like <A HREF="http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=80857">this one</A> would make the site a lot easier to use for the folks like myself who are a bit less experienced than others with the installation of mods. Answers to questions like "Where is my ArchiveInvalidation file?" or "What is FOMM and why should I use it?" in one easy to find thread would greatly enhance the site experience. The answers to a lot of these questions are out there, but they require a fair bit of hunting around to find. My apologies if such a FAQ is already available for Fallout 3. I hunted around for one before posting this here but wasn't able to find it.

You may find this useful: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=21998 Although it was made for Oblivion, it is still quite accurate....both games use the same engine, to almost everything is applicable. Actually there is one of the bethesda forums...that is quite in depth and may be of more use: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=449239 Buddah

I didn't think to look for this in the Oblivion area. Thank you!
