DAO-Modmanager config issues

Alright so, I'm running windows 7 x64 and have a steam copy of Dragon Age Ultimate Edition.

The problem I'm having is that the "config" option for any and all of my mods stays greyed out, in other words It wont let me config anything. It's running as admin, and all mods are installed correctly (as they all work in game). I'm really thinking that there is a comparability issue with either DA Ultimate edition or with Win 7 x64.

If anyone has an insight on this, work-arounds/fixes it would be greatly appreciated.

-Thanks

There are very few mods that can be adjusted after installation. NBaio is one, and NV4 is another, and both of those are ".override" mods (which are already a special case.) All others will have that option greyed-out.

What mod is giving you trouble?

Nbaio is the main one, I'm not sure if the others have configs available....I'm using:

BSC Mild for Dialogue Tweaks

Dialogue Tweaks

Madd Gift guide

More Hairstyles and PT's vibrant colors

Desire Demon nude patch

Lock bash

Morrigan Resto Patch.

and

Dragon age redesigned

Where (on your DAMM) screen does the NBaio icon appear?

If only in the bottom panel, (all mod library) "install" it first.

If already in the upper-middle panel, ("Overrides") try doing an un-/re-install.

NOTE: NBaio takes a looooong time to install. You may even get a "program has stopped responding" message. Be patient.

It's both stored in the bottom and installed in the top/middle panel, I have tried reinstalling it multiple times with no luck, I've also rebuild the override and I run into the same issue where the config option is greyed out.

The default mod settings work fine in game, so I know that the override is working, just for some reason the config option is not available.

Just found a fix for it, just had to switch back to DAO-modmanager 19.c rather than the current release "d" version.

Thanks for help along the way Thandal.

would it be helpful for me to leave a bug report for the author of the mod manager? If so where/how should I do that, because there does appear to be some compatibility issue going on with the 19.d release.

I'm using DAMM v1.9d with no problem, and have been doing so for quite a while. Just re-installed everything on the Win8 side of my dual-boot rig and still no issues with v1.9d.

So, there may have been a problem on your particular machine, but it's not typical.
