Ject67
Hey guys, i'm just wondering if there are any good online rts games anymore, because most just seem boring these days. I haven't played an rts game online since early 2006 when I lost the internet for a long, long time. I kinda miss the old days of intense competition, hanging out and playing alongside a few friends while getting the view from the top of being reconised as one of the best. I'm sure there are some people here who know what I mean. Anyway, the game I enjoyed the most of was Empires: Dawn of the Modern World. In the imperial setting. (Before the ww ages). The game is kind of like a mix of Empire Earth, but not as complex and Age of empires, but faster paced. I'm considering C&C 3, but would prefer a game more simular to what I just mentioned. So any recomendations? I'll hand out kudos
Guest
If you like civilization builders you might enjoy Rise of Nations or its fantasy counterpart Rise of Legends, if you think you might like something closer to Starcraft's more action oriented play the Dawn of War games and its expansions are excellent and Company of Heroes despite the rather uninspiring name and world war two setting is actually a really good game. If the second two have your interest look up the relic super pack on steam, you can get Dawn of War and its first two expansions and Company of heroes and its expansion for $50. Olurum
Warcraft III : Reign of Chaos + The Frozen Throne Expansion. This game is still very active and very competitive... Nowadays I just play for fun with lame tactics in 4v4. Like previous Blizzard games, this game is still enjoying balance tweaks via patches 6 years after its release.
