how to record avatar-character

often when watching a tutorial on you tube for or even demo of new mod you will see the character of the person playing standing there talking or doing intro of the video about to be shown as if they themselves were being filmed by a third party and i would love it if someone would explain to me how this is done

You'd have to take your headset off, launch the game, when it loads you into the character selector there should be something that says "Press F11 for help", you'd click that and then click what you want.
