SSE Mod "Update" Request, possible Reimbursement.

On the 27th of Juli 2013, a modder known as Kuroukira created The Dragon Nodachi mod for Skyrim found here:

This has easily become my favorite modded weapon on the nexus since then.

Sadly, the mod author has been inactive and unreachable since the 6th of April 2017.

 

I tried to get in touch with him/her to no avail. This weapon, aestethics wise, looks so amazing to me. With a few touch ups on the model and textures for Skyrim Special Edition this mod

could be so much more. Think updated textures and model, better/balanced stats, a questline to go with it to obtain it apart from the console commands, a custom cultist armor to go with it because

it looks amazing with Dragonborn's Cultist outfits.

 

I hope that somewhere out there there is a modder that is willing to work on a project that I have had in mind for quite some time, but am unable to execute do to time shortage and absolutely

no experience with mod creation tools outside of the Creation Kit, and even that was very tough for me.

 

Please contact me for a possible update/mod creation. Am willing to reimburse for time spend, within reason of course.

 

It is the idea that this mod would be intended for private use, but if it does not go against any rules on the nexus reupload is not out of the question. And am not asking for any recoqnition.

Quest idea:

Around level 15 (or when the Dragonborn DLC starts) an unmasked (fe/male) cultist

Seeks out the Dragonborn behind Miraak's back to deliver a note. One of Miraak's

"strongest" cultists has betrayed them and stolen the "True Dragonborn's Blade &

Armor" from Miraak and has fled to Skyrim. The unmasked cultist reveals s/he joined

the Betrayer but has been forced to abandon him/her because they went mad with power

due to wielding the Blade and donning the armor, for only a

True Dragonborn could wield and don the armor, believing themselves to be the

"The True Dragonborn".

The player now has to seek out this Betrayer in a fortress filled with draugr, skeletons

and The Betrayer's personal Dragon (which carries a

Dragon Heart in it's loot pool when defeated). After defeating the Betrayer

the player can loot the armor from his/her corpse but the blade has been shattered.

The player can take the shards back to the Skyforge and ask Eorlund Gray-mane for help,

restoring the blade is not easy and you will need the following ingredients.

A Shattered Dragon Blade (maybe use the broken dragon priest staff model

and combine it with a new broken blade model.)

A filled Grand/Black Soul Gem (to mimic a dragon soul.)

4 dragon bones.

3 dragon scales.

2 Ebony Ingots.

1 Dragon Heart.

(The player should have obtained most of these items by defeating the Betrayer's Dragon

and The Betrayer himself.)

After these materials have been brought to Eorlund Gray-Mane it will take him

7 ingame days to reforge the blade.
