Michlo
Search only gave me hundreds of new requests, new meshes / re-textures, etc. I've obviously missed something in the game. How do we get this power armour training please? Cheers.
OniB
you have to complete a section of the main questspoiler warning you need to escape from project purity with doctor lee and make it into the brotherhood of steels citadel, there you can ask Elder Lyons and he will grant you permission to recieve training, the guy who trains you is in the citadels main courtyard
Michlo
Ah, thank you. I've been avoiding it in order to prolong the game so thank you for also putting it in spoiler tags. :) Cheers.
Tchos
I've been avoiding the main quest too, so the best use I have for the power armour is to let Charon wear it. Covers up his ugly head nicely.
Circuitous
Clover can *ban* wear Power Armor before me. :( Also, when they say "Bailey" they mean "Courtyard." I seriously wasted 45 minutes because of that.
OniB
happy to helpit threw me first when it was mentioned by one of the brotherhood soldiers at the gnr buildingspent a bit of time looking for it before i eventually found it, wish the power armour was a bit more durable though
Seviche
The Cynical side of me says; at the very least, the Outcasts should train you in the use, considering you have to bring in a metric ton of tech items for them anyways. How much proof do you need to convince them of your loyalty anyways? The Realist side of me says; of course the Outcasts won't train you, you're supposed to become a BOS ally through the course of the game. Why else would you go to the BOS? I mean, that's the only reason I even bother with the main quests. Well, that and to watch Initiate Redding bite it. I love watching idiots die.
Tchos
I think the Outcast armour looks better, with its black and red style. I picked some up from one of the outcasts you see roaming the wastes, who occasionally get killed by the "local wildlife". That's the style I have Charon wearing. Seems all types of power armour can be used to repair any other power armour, as well.

They stick to the old teachings, which certainly didn't involve recruiting any Wastelander that happened to drop off some neat items. Besides which, if they train you to use Power Armor, they have to give you a suit, because the only other way for you to get it would be to kill one of their existing members (which you've probably done anyway, but it's the principle of the thing).
