mambo1986
Hi Everyone, Please forgive me if this is in the incorrect part of the forums first time here :). I have downloaded the Bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized Texture pack for Skyrim and using the Core + Hybrid 1024+2048. I am installing it through NMM but for some reason when I go to disable the 2 files HighResTexturePack01.esp and HighResTexturePack02.esp as advised in the instructions here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9080 they do not show in the launcher and they are nowhere to be found on my PC. The mod downloads fine and NMM appears to load the mod in fine saying it is successful but still does not show anything in launcher. Is this normal? Thanks for help with this!! Best Regards Dave
steve40
Did you modify your Skyrim.ini like the installation instructions tell you to? :whistling:
mambo1986
Hi, Thanks for your reply. Yes I edited the archive section of the skyrim.ini as below: [Archive]sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsasResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa am I right in thinking I should have the .esp files in my data folder in the Skyrim directory as they are not there. Looks like the NMM hasnt extracted files properly.
MShoap13
This mod doesn't contain those .esp's. Nor does it contain the original .bsa archives associated with Bethesda's High Res Texture Pack. You'll have to download it separately from Steam. I am not using Steam for Skyrim I have installed into C:\program files. Sorry if I sound stupid just new to the modding community so bear with me.
