BTW when will the 13. book be released? I heard that Robert Jordan passed away a few months ago and the series will be finished by another author... And Yes I own That game...its lame and old....well its actually not that lame for how old it is and the neat spells it has... The book I think should be coming out September/October/November ish 2009 and Im SUPER excited!! on a side note Im rather sad that they sold the television and film rights....especially after Wizards first rule became a tv mini series I think legend of the seeker or something...Horrid... Sooo while Im hating on the tv series thats going to suck I want to be able to play a total conversion of this epic story line Anyone know anything Edit: "Now Brandon Sanderson has signed on to complete A Memory of Light, with scheduled delivery of the manuscript in December 2008 and a planned publication date of Fall 2009." forgot to add who was going to publish it and now thats the right Publication date. macmert Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Yea I played the game too, it was good looking but it was not RPG or something, plain FPS :) I quit reading on book four I think, I have to admit, the book is great, I cant believe a writer can write down so much (12 books around 800 pages? :)) and still the story holds you tight... pyroman666 Posted December 4, 2008 Author Share Posted December 4, 2008 The story is Amazing you should pick up the books again, and the average is more like 900 pages per well yeah...and the last book is actually 2 books in one. Robert Jordan knew he wasnt going to have time to write two books so he made 1 long book, but he wasnt able to finish it RIP we will miss him greatly...He left behind notes and told his wife and I think son Everything, the entire story and left notes before he passed...I hope they make a movie and not botch it like the Legend of the seeker was murdered Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
macmert Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Yea I know the story was great, I was a bit lazy :( I still cant believe I read 4 books that thick :) I mean I read as a hobby but that series was long, you could build a house with those books, they are thicker than a brick :D BTW a new game is being developed right now about Wheel of Time, I hope it will be a good RPG instead of an FPS... pyroman666 Posted December 7, 2008 Author Share Posted December 7, 2008 well it wouldnt be too hard, after all its based on a cyclical storyline the wheel turns and the dragon is reborn time after time and spins him out when the pattern needs him...so it really would be easy to make it say the next turning of the wheel where Rand is name that is associated with Kin slayer and Rand is in the next hero's head or what ever....
