MootsMods
Hello to you all. I have a question about map boundaries. I am trying to build a player home at the top side of a mountain so that it faces the Imperial City. However, when I load up the game it seems fine (I load to the exterior of house). But as I walk around I get stuck with a message saying "you cannot go that way". And then my player is literally stuck in that spot. Is there any way to avoid this? And too if I enter the house it works, but when exiting back to the "out of bounds" cell it won't load it. Just reloads me back in the house at the door? Also, is there a way to see the boundaries within CK? I mean, how are we supposed to know where a legitimate place to build is? Please help if you have an answer. Thanks in advance XD Edited December 14, 2012 by SkyriManiaK
MootsMods
Please, someone out there must have an answer for this? It seems to me a trivial question. I just don't know... but I doubt that no one here knows :/
rarborman
Try scouting it in game, if you cant walk there dont build there.I also think there is a mod that did remove the boundry but I havent a clue what it is, beyond skyrim or something.I'd also suggest not building so close to the boundry if you can help it. stars2heaven
There should be a setting somewhere in the .ini that you can set to remove the boundary. Edit: Google would have found you this pretty fast :P Add bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 in the [General] section in Skyrim.ini.
