Skyrim mod that allows background tasks?

Hello,

I'm looking for a Skyrim mod that would allow me to background tasks without changing window focus from the game.

For example, I'm running Autohotkey but Skyrim prevents my hotkeys from working while it is in focus.

 

I have looked into Windowed mods, but I don't like the feel and would simply prefer Skyrim to stop blocking communication with the background.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :biggrin:
