I'm wanting to make a look alike follower

So, after the recent success of the amazing 'Lovely Jessica' mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27955/ check it out if you haven't already, it's dope - kudos to Omega99jp) i've decided I would quite like to recreate some of my favourite celebrities as followers and throw them into Skyrim. I have tried opening several pictures up on the Steam Overlay while using the character creation to form the face to the best of my ability but even with mods - it's very limited as to what you can do. I'm no artist, nor a programmer or designer or any of that fancy stuff, i'm just a lady with a massive crush.

 

My questions are: Is this just a lost cause and am I destined to be solitude (not literally) forever - with nothing but a lonely house, Lydia's body and no skills? Or are there programs that can help me? Maybe mods i've missed.

Everyone starts somewhere.

 

To make a companion mod that looks, exactly, like a celebrity you'll need to use the sliders to get their features as closely lined up as possible and craft custom face textures for them from a high resolution photograph. Then you'd need to combine the custom face, the NPC file with the features set the way you want them and the perfect hair, eye mods all into a standalone follower package.

 

Only the crafting of the face is particularly hard as it'll require some skill in a photo editing program such as Photoshop or Gimp. You can google for tutorials on how to do this. You can also attempt to contact modders who have done this already for tips that will help you.

 

Don't be daunted, take your time and eventually you'll have your bevy of celebrity lookalikes in your game :thumbsup:

Wow, thanks for the depthy reply :D I really wish I had the patience to do all of that :( I might ask around, maybe someone will sell me their services for a hefty donation haha
