Some Texture-Mod Uninstallation Help?

So I figured since SRO was taken off Nexus by it's author for reasons that will go unmentioned, I was considering just uninstalling his mod (since it's not getting further updates for, well... anyone) and moving on. But as it's so extensive, I was wondering how I would being doing that exactly? Is there a way to expedite the process? Thanks for any assistance, I've never uninstalled a mod this large or extensive before.

How did you install it? If you used NMM, just deactivating it should get rid of it.

If you installed it manually, the only way would be to go through the archive that came in the SRO download and compare it's resources to your \Skyrim\Data\ folder.

I installed it manually unfortunately. =_= I figured I'd have to do a source by source comparison to uninstall it, but they are all file overwrites so that makes it most problematic. Hence why the textures folder is basically getting deleted at this point (which isn't an issue since it's the only texture environ mod I use).

You could just delete everything in the \Textures\ folder and then do a full reinstall of any mods you're running that contain textures. It may turn out to be faster to do it this way. :turned:

I would try to hang on to them if I were you. It's always a shame when great mods get taken down for whatever reason. However, not only does it feel like you have an antique when you have one (like an older version of SoS =D), but in your case, they are only textures (I'm guessing) and so you never know when you might decide you prefer something from that mod over anything else that is available. Lack of support for textures tends not to be a very big deal. It's not like a new patch will break them.

True, I guess I'll hold onto it., as you said it's not like add-ons or patches are going to affect my texture overwrites. Thanks for the help guys.
