failedlegend
So the title pretty much sums it up, I'm fairly tech savvy but I've never gotten around to learning to code/mod (last time i "coded" was HTML when i was a kid) but since I'm stuck inside due to COVID I figured it was a good time to learn how. Anyways I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good tutorials or the like to get started and how difficult would adding new classes and/or archetypes to Kingmaker would be (time isn't an issue as mentioned above) similar to these mods https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/145https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/141https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/129https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/112https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/82https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/79 Edit: To clarify I've been USING mods for a long time just never MADE one Edited April 10, 2020 by failedlegend
CONCERRO
I'd like to learn also. You'll have to download the Unity engine, which is what Kingmaker was built on. These two links on this site also seem useful. Tutorials Tools After you download Unity it seems this might be useful: How to create mod for unity game. PS:I haven't created any mods. This is just what I came across after a few minutes of research.
Stanmaster
I'm in a similar situation, and I can safely say that at minimum it's a huge pain in the ass. I'm trying to make a mod to give arcane tricksters "Pilfer Magic" a la NWN2, as I feel they're just underwhelming and I want something to make them a little more unique and powerful, and I've been hacking away at it for several hours and all I've finally managed to accomplish is pulling up the game files with dnspy.
