Trying to find an old song.

I know this might be a long shot but this is the type of question someone ethier knows the answer to or not :(

 

I have done a long-google search (*and bing i got that disterbate*) but i could only find one site where someone was lookin for the same song and no answer.

 

Here is the information i know.

 

The song is between 70-90s.

 

It is a dance / trance type song.

 

I cant remember any of the lryics.

 

The Music video has this in it: "A girl who seduces a shop keeper while her two friends try and steal a yellow car"

 

Thats the only information i remember from the video.

 

Any ideas or comments would be welcomed :)

Not a clue, but if it has a video, it probably wouldn't be before 1981 (unless it was some band that could actually afford the production values, as evidenced by a rather limited play list for the first few years of MTV (and the only reason why we even know Duran Duran)). More than likely it would be some time after 1986 since it was by that time that the cost of making a rough music video was much lower due to portable video cameras and the start of digital editing. I'm not sure how you would put anything described as "trance" before 1994 though, since although synthesizers were commonly used in the 80's, most of the music produced was more rock or pop-like. Mid-late 90's would also be the start of the House style getting any attention, and with it a revival of dance-club-style music. If it were anything from the 70's to early 80's, it would certainly sound more disco.
