bwernard
Hey guys, My main character was using an armor skin set from a certain mod, which was enchated to fortify destruction, heavy armor, restoration, etc. Recently I found out another mod, which was a collection of different armor sets that included the one I was using. Long story short, I deleted the original addon and started using the newer one, thinking nothing would change. Of course it did, I lost the armor, but ok, I decided to go with the flow and try crafting it again eventually. It wasnt util about 30+ game hours later that I noticed I still had the deleted armor buffs on my char. I would prefer to fix that... Any idea how I could do that? Anyway, thanks for the help. (PS: I didnt mention the mod names because I dont think any of this is the mod code fault, but mine)
MShoap13
You didn't properly uninstall the original mod. You should have unequipped and removed the armor and made a save without it before uninstalling. I think the only thing you may be able to do about it now is use the console to try and remove the effects. Unequipping all items and then using the "sexchange" command twice may or may not fix it. Removing each effect individually may or may not be an option. Try to click on one of the active effects with the console open to see if you can get a RefID. The UESPWiki has a pretty comprehensive list of working console commands.
Deleted1308005User
You can get ID for effect by clicking it on console? I didn't know that. From what I know, it is quite permanent effect.Howver, there is console command. "Disableallspells" or something like that which might remove it. I can't remember the right name for the command though, never used it myself.
MShoap13
You can get ID for effect by clicking it on console? I didn't know that. I really don't know if it will give you the ID or not, I haven't personally tried it. I just figured it was worth a shot due to the wide array of objects in the game you can get RefIDs for through the console.
Deleted1308005User
Anyway, I think you can get the ID for the enchantment by doing this:Open magic menuCheck active effects pageYou see the effect which is stuck on your character.Open consoleType:help NAMEOFTHEENCHANTMENT 4(Note, I don't know if it's possible to use spaces when searching item name, just type part of the name of the enchantment. For example: Enchantment called RESIST MAGIC, you'd type "help resist 4"After you've done this, you should see much different effects above, search for MGEF which has name of the enchantment you've stuck upon you.For example:MGEF RESIST MAGIC 001053502 001053502 is the ID of the effect.now type in console:player.removespell 001053502 And hit enter, done.If it didn't work, you need to repeat these steps for EVERY effect with similar name to the effect you have on you. For example, there is maybe 4-6 effects which are called "Resist magic"However, remember to close the magic menu and open it again to see if it works. I am not sure if this works with effects added by enchantments, but I'd believe it works.Good luck! and remember to report back if you are able to remove the enchantment from you.
