perylousdemon
Hi, everyone. I'm having a bit of trouble with a couple of my mods. Way of the Monk and RCRN apparently both have to be last in the load order; if I move either one from that spot, it stops working. I'd really like to keep both of them, so does anyone know a way to get them to play nicely together? Thanks in advance!
MShoap13
My only advice would be try opening them up in TES5Edit and see what records are conflicting. It may be possible to make a merged patch by copying the conflicting records from RCRN to a new plugin, applying the changes WOTM makes to said records into the copied plugin, and then loading this merged patch after both parent plugins. Mods like RCRN are infamous for incompatibilities due to affecting a huge number of the game's worldspaces.
perylousdemon
To be honest, it seems like RCRN is actually working. I just didn't get an in-game notification like I used to, for some reason. I think that the volumetric fog may not be working properly, but I can live without that. Drops my FPS too much at times, anyway.
MShoap13
If WOTM is loaded last, then any conflicting records they have will be overwritten. WOTM will work just fine but RCRN won't work properly in those cells. I'm not really sure about the inner workings of RCRN but if it has scripts that rely on it's changes to the cells that WOTM also effects, they may fail to parse. This may or may not cause bigger issues immediately or down the road. It may be wise to contact the author of RCRN and see what he has to say about it. It's a pretty popular mod and I'd expect there to be a pretty loud roar of users if RCRN is causing major problems due to it's incompatibilities with other mods so check the comments section while your at it.
