SugaryPhoenixxx Posted April 13, 2020 Share Posted April 13, 2020 in texture sets I added a diffusion map & a normal map in .dds format, & when I applied the new texture to the glacier mesh, parts of it were showing purple.( I am trying to change the ice texture to rock texture) Here is an example picture, a screenshot within CK showing the top & part of the sides are purple. That is telling me I am missing textures? Is there another map that I was supposed to include? Does the texture not fit on the mesh? I am so confused. Here are the settings & maps I have in texture sets: & this is what I get in game: Can someone please give me a hint at what I did wrong? RichWebster Posted April 13, 2020 Share Posted April 13, 2020 It's probably missing an environment map. Check the nif file for that model, and take a look at the BSLightingShaderProperty. There's probably another texture line you're missing. In my experience you just need to point your texture set to that filepath, it shouldn't need a new texture itself.
