catastrophically missed the mark with this one. most endorsed music mod? really? it might fit some obscure late 90s - early 2000s 3rd person shooter or whatever, but not this. why do you think the game doesnt have the usual '80s retrowave' like we have abundance of right now (carpenter brut or whatever) or industrial either pop one like NIN or some stronger one? because thats not what fallout is. fallout new vegas was basically a western. oldschool star wars was a fairytale and didnt have what you would standardly assume to be scifi tracks now did it?

fallout 4 while a flawed game in most regards, didnt disappoint in soundtracks, other than not having enough of it. as much as todd howards wants to f*** up things it didnt resort to the uninspired nature of this mod which is basically... OH this game is sci-fi? have to get scifi music then! have to get all edgy!

come on.

 

now for what it is worth, absolute dogshit match of the style that this is, it is a well made mod. great collection of what it is... its just... so off the mark. top endorsed in this category? thats a bigger digital nightmare than this mod.

and this doesnt feel like fallout 2 or 3 either.

the worst offender is that its a bad soundtrack music. soundtrack has the honor of being played over and over in various environments so it has to be either VERY thematic to particular area and never play anywhere else or have obscure genericness so that you can use it a lot.

just now i reinstalled fallout 4 and unfortunately this mod automatically installed again. thats why i even got back to this thread. the annoying combat music is insane.
