Lupo982
Hi to everyone! The coronavirus quarantine brought me back to the awesome world of videogames after a looooong hiatus. I had completely stopped playing videogames back in... 2000 I think, because I realized that I had to choose between playing Fallout 2 non-stop, and finishing high-school  Two weeks ago, after a couple of weeks of quarantine, I started playing Fallout 4 to kill boredom, and here I am, addicted again  I've been browsing various mods for Fallout 4 in these past few days, and I am truly impressed by the sheer quantity (and, presumably, quality) of them. In fact I feel I have so much choices that I can't decide! ^^ So far I've been playing the vanilla game, and I still have a long way to finish it (building settlements has proved to be a HUGE distraction from progressing on quests themselves). But I am starting to think about the future, that is, about mods that provide new quests, or new lands to explore. I was wondering if anyone with a deep knowledge of Fallout 4 would share a good advice with this poor noob  about a good selection of mods that provide new quests for Fallout 4, or otherwise extend content (new lands, new monsters - but it's especially new quests that interest me). I am completely new to mods (in fact, I yet have to install one) and I'd like not to have to tinker too much with settings or conflicts to make them work. So, ideally I am looking for 3-4-5? mods that work well together, provide a lot of new content while respecting the lore and general mood, work more or less seamlessy with the vanilla game... and do not require me to start with a new playthrough (am I asking too much?) I'd point out that I do not own a gaming PC, just a decent laptop with a mediocre video card, which happens to be able to run Fallout 4 at low/medium quality, but could not manage newer games. Therefore, I am not looking for demanding mods that risk to lower FPS significantly. Thanks to anyone who will be bored enough to answer me

Brokenbrane
For me the best quest mod was Nika_Cola's The Machine and Her. The story line was great, superb voice acting, and you can get a very capable companion for the duration. I'm keeping my eyes open for anything she uploads to the nexus. There were a few relatively minor bugs here and there but nothing that a little googling and persistence couldn't overcome. BTW, I relate to your Fallout 2 comment! Happy gaming.
