Limbabnees
How do i tell this...? Maybe im sensitive for this, but not had that last week. I installed Windows XP & all programs again. Tuned my system. The problem is wenn looking around with the mouse its not smooth (minor stutter) anymore. Get a little dizzy. The stutter is so miniem you almost not notice it. Only wenn looking around, not wenn pressed the scroll button and look around (that's real smooth). What causes this problem. I played last week High settings. Now with Low settings & 800x600, still have that problem. Anyone know this problem?Maybe i need change a setting somewhere? I tried also with update mouse drivers.Im really get sick (fysically & in my mind) now :( P.s. Im not tired or slept bad. Don't have this problem with other games. JAD2008
Well... it seems that everybody have problems with this.... ''game'' if we can call it that way... instead of Fallout 3 it could be called Crashout 3  I have that mouse problem too, when I look some certain direction the game just get slow... There isn't any problem with our drivers, it's just the game. We all need to wait until Bethestha release a new patch

jaysus
update gfx card driver... fallout is kinda memory intensive-- thus turn off virus scanner, defragmentation programs and anything else windows doesnt need to run... (mdm, alg and all the buggers)the stuttering if you turn appears if your ram is full, needs to be cleared and filled again (or even worse your virtual ram is full)... maybe consider upgrading this...the OPs problem tho sounds more like a wrong gfx driver the low resolution wont help much i guess as they just reduce the texture load but not the model load... also it would be kinda interesting what specs your mashine has... the one it runs on doesnt matter... one thing that might help is that: sometimes if i start fallout is stutters in the menu yet, the mouse freezes and so on... that will still be ingame... thus i turn it off ans start again... this time usually it works smoothly... i dunno what causes this but i guess it has to do with the launcher not being fully loaded whilst you clicked the start game button yet (crazy thought tho lol)
Smosh
If you're playing at anything under 20fps it will feel sluggish and you'll get headaches along with eye strain.Check out http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout3_1.html It's an excellent site that may help you tweak your game some more to increase frames while keeping the graphics relatively high.
