A nearing the double nickel Canuck male in BC saying hello to all. Been old school RPG'ing for more than 35 years [still going] and pc gaming for about 15 now. Love my FPS/3rd person games, although the first game I started with was Starcraft [still got a soft spot for certain RTS games in the sci-fi genre]. Not a fan of mmo's 'cause I refuse to pay to play after I've already bought the game and like a couple of comments I've seen posted, I don't like the pressure and grind-thru required to succeed in an adventure, as well as not having the time to schedule a session to play with others in a Guild or somesuch other time required event, however I am thinking about joining Firefall [played as a beta tester by invite and I like the general look and feel overall]. Big, BIG fan of post-holocaust like FO3, FNV, Metro 2033, etc. [relates to my Aftermath rpg I ran for almost 12 years] and Sci-Fi's like Mass Effect, Front Mission, Dead Space, etc., Retro looks like the Bioshock series [fond childhood memories of a by-gone era], and some Medevial styles like Oblivion, Dragon Age, etc. [i get most of my "Iron and Blood" fix from my "recent" RPG group that I've been with for almost 13 years now!]

 

Been a lurker for a year and a half and now I'm totally addicted to modding my games for continued and enhanced play.

Time to speak up and actually become part of the community.

Hail Bethesda and the other game companies for providing games that continue to allow extended gameplay beyond beating the vanilla in whatever mode.

 

um...uh..., ya, time to stop rambling

Side note to bben46, nice blog site you have, answered more than a couple of my Q's concerning Fallout's and modding w/o having to post the same ol', same ol' to get answers
