tyadams Posted April 17, 2020 Share Posted April 17, 2020 Hello, im working on a mod that add more emphasise on looting. ive set up lots of item to be pickupable. my problem is that i want a crate to contain random loot when opened, as theirs no way to open a misc object to my knowledge, i want to say craft something with it that gives random loot, ll list dont show up sadly, any help will be appreciated. I am talking of fo4, but I cant find a fo4 ck help page, so ive come here. if anyone knows anyway for me to be able to open the object with scripts etc. please share it. NexusComa Posted April 18, 2020 Share Posted April 18, 2020 (edited) Not sure how fallout works... but for Skyim most all of the chests are actually random loot. Based off a list(s) of possible loot. Very easy to work with. All you would need to do is take a look at how the lists are made. Even copy one then add your loot and remove what was there. Of cores rename it and say yes to new object. Then you just put your new custom list in the chest base just as they did theirs. Edit* Also make sure when creating a new list in a base you rename and say yes to new base object too.
