Courrier's armored elite riot sneaky Dustah suit mark whatever...

Hi everyone! I've been recently browsing the nexus for a mod that would combine the elite riot gear's duster from the lonesome road and the stealth suit mk II from old world blues but I couldn't find one, so I decided to post that aweful montage of mine I made on paint.net in order to get sum help. :thumbsup:

 

I also thought about some minor tweaking but nothing too crazy (and also, most of this is only personal preferences) :

 

1: For the name of the armor I thought about the "Stealth Amplifing Riot Assissted Harness" or S.A.R.A.H. as a way to give a name to the suit's A.I. (Helmet could be "Sarah's face") but feel free to find better names.

2: In order to match with the riot gear's duster, I think the assassin suit's texture would be better than the regular stealth suit mk II's ones. (Let's assume the courrier did the paint job.)

3: I always thought the Stalth suit mk II/assassin suit didn't looked "hi-tech" enough in comparison it's chinese counterpart, espacially the gloves, belt and the boots, I think it would be an improvement to use the Chinese stealth suit as a basis and upgrade it only with the assassin's suit chestplate & collar under the elite riot gear's duster.

4: The armor stats:

 

DT: 15 (one more point than the stealth suit mk II thanks to the duster)

Item HP: 625 (Stealth suit is 500 - Elite gear is 750)

Value: 15 000 bottle caps

Armor Type: Light ( I never understood why the STEALTH suit was a medium armor! Also the elite riot gear is in the medium rank but I would assume that it concern the LAPD riot armor under the duster more than the duster itself.)

Effects:

Critical chance +5

Guns +10

Sneak +25

Charisma +1

Perception +1

Agility +1

Movement: speed while crouching +20%

Stimpacks & Med-x automatic injection

Stealth field while crouching

Stealth suit mk II A.I.(though I don't know if it's possible due to copyright and all that)

Weight: 27 (stealth suit is 25 and elite gear is 23)

 

5: The helmet stats: (basically the same as the elite riot helmet)

DT: 6

item HP:100

Value: 1500

Armor Type: Heavy (only affects the jury rigging perk. It can still be worn with light armor perks, as the helmet isn't added to the "bad armor" list.)

Effects: Red scare

Sneak sight

Boone's Spotter perk

PE +2

Speech +5

Rad res. +15 (I quote the elite riot gear's wiki page from the fallout wiki : "It has additional green tubes on its enhanced gas filter. ")

Weight;

 

If you think that's OP you'd be right, in order to compensate, i thought the armor would have to be crafted at the workbench and would require a high repair skill and both the stealth suit mk II and the elite riot gear. If you ask me, putting a coat over your clothes is as lore friendly as it gets, so I don't think this would be out of place.

 

I know you're all busy with your personal projects but hey if you can drop me a comment about how can I do all this stuff myself It will be better than nothing. :smile:

I've updated the concept and while my photo editing skills aren't getting any better (I know, right?) I think the armor would definitely look nice...

I've tried to slightly adjust the chinese stelth armor texture in order to match the rest, it's really nitpicking but I think it looks better this way.

If someone want to give it a try I'd be the happiest courrier in the Mojave! Otherwise I'll try to learn how to do it by myself while I'm in quarantine... XD

I recently discovered this mod that corrects the original dusters meshes in order to make it fits the legs, I thought it might be a neat addition

I'm still learning how to use the GECK, but I'm not even remotely close to the level of editing required for this so it might take some time but who knows?
