mettlenexus
Im pretty new to modding so please be patient with me, my biggest gripe in the game is that skill points are eaten up by the multi-level perks (the 5 level base perks in particular) so what I am attempting to do is change the trees so that so that those skills are either divided into the whole the tree or scale with the characters skill level, allowing more freedom with skill point distribution. I am trying to maintain a fair and logical progression so if anyone has suggestions on how to keep things "P" feel free to comment. The first thing I am unsure about is whether I should build a perk tree from scratch or edit the existing perks. I have already watched youtube videos and read various articles but Im finding that most of these instructional's do not go into detail on the perk entries box in the perk edit window (which im having trouble fully understanding) so if anyone can point me in the direction of that info please let me know. Currently Ive been playing around with the block tree to experiment and I stumbled onto something strange. First is the modifier for Shield Wall, the first point reads at a 20% increase in effectiveness but the multiply value is set at 1.10, however when you look at the final rank of Shield Wall it reads a 40% increase but the value is set at 1.50. Im no mathematician and maybe Im just missing something in calculation but my brain says that something is off here.
